Feb. 20: Douglas Turning Point will be holding a healthy community networking meeting at 7:30 a.m at the Douglas Fire Department. For more information call Carol Huddleston at (520) 364-5028.


Feb. 21: Douglas Public Library Book Club for Adults Discussion; 7 p.m. Library Conference Room. Topic will be The Book Thief. Copies of the novel available from library staff.

 

Ongoing: Chiricahua Community Health Centers along with the Douglas Public Library will hold a free creative writing class starting Jan. 23 – May 15, at the Douglas Public Library conference room. Admission is free and class will be held every Wednesday. Classes will be held by Marybeth Webster, Art Therapist. Bring your current poem, story, and or article. Contact Marybeth Webster at (520) 456-5967 or Jorge at the Library (520) 364-3851 or (520) 417-7356.

Ongoing: Al-Anon Family Group weekly meeting will be held every Monday at the Douglas Library meeting room. The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope, in order to solve their common problems. Meetings will be held from 7 – 8:15 p.m. there is no charge to participate in these meetings. For further information contact Lea at (520) 805-0086.
