House of Hope staff says thanks

Dear Editor:

We would like to say thank you to the Viejitos Car Club, National Guard 2220th Transportation Company Detachment 1, Elks Lodge, Douglas Police Department, Sign Galore LLC, and the community members of Douglas who made the women and children of the shelter very happy during Christmas.

These groups worked very hard to give the children gifts for Christmas. The children and mothers are very happy and appreciative.

Your support truly makes a difference in the lives of the children and adults we serve.
