Eva was born on February 6, 1929 and died on February 6, 2013. Eva passed away peacefully at her home.



Eva was preceded in death by her spouse, Jesus A. Gutierrez (known as Chuey), sister Concha Bracamonte and brother, Rene Escarcega.

Eva is survived by one sister, Olga Alvarado and four children, Frank (Bonnie) Gutierrez, Sr.; Eva (Jim) Nichols; Richard (Connie) Gutierrez; Jesse (Lora) Gutierrez and 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Eva resided in Douglas for 75 years and remained active in her church and community to the end. We will miss you mom. We love you! Your Children.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Brown Page Mortuary Chapel. A Rosary for Eva will be recited at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. with Father Gilbert Malu officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mark Nichols, Bryan Gutierrez, Brandon Gutierrez, Daniel Gutierrez and Joseph Gutierrez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Frank Gutierrez, Jr., Frank Owens, Ben Gutierrez.
