Pablo Ricardo Palma passed away peacefully on February 3, 2013 at the Southeast Arizona Medical Center.



He was born in Douglas, Arizona on April 3, 1926 to Pablo and Petra Palma. He was a kitchen helper throughout his career. Ricardo liked to travel and lived in California and Colorado. He finally settled in Douglas where he devoted his time visiting his brothers and sisters and loved helping his sisters-in-law with anything they needed done.

Pablo was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and sister-in law; Gilberto (Maria), Raul (Guillermina), Ruben (Lucy), Roberto (Emma), Dolores (Jesus) and Guillermo.

Surviving is his sister-in-law Maria J. Palma, nephew and caregiver Mark Lopez, along with many wonderful and loving nephews, nieces and cousins. He will be deeply missed by his relatives and friends for his generosity and will be in our hearts forever.

A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. also at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Gilbert Malu officiating. Following his wishes, Pablo will be cremated after the Mass. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery at a later dated.
