KOLD returns to Cox Douglas customers

Cox and Raycom Media reached an agreement for retransmission consent of CBS-KOLD on Cox’s lineup as of late Friday night.


“We regret the recent disruption in service and appreciate the patience and support of our customers as we sought to reach an agreement that is both fair and reasonable,” Vice President and Area Manager, Cox Communications Southern Arizona, Lisa Lovallo said.

According to a statement by KOLD Vice President and General Manager, Debbie Bush KOLD held a watch party at Desert Diamond Sports Bar, off of Pima Mine Road in Sahuarita, for the Indianapolis/Baltimore game on Sunday, Jan. 6.

Neither Cox nor Raycom Media have stated details of the agreement, the companies had been negotiating since October.

The previous agreement expired on Dec. 31 and CBS-KOLD had been off the air for Cox customers since then forcing many customers to miss some of their favorite shows.
