La Solana celebrates Christmas

Residents at the La Solana Care and Rehab Center on San Antonio Ave. were treated to a Christmas party Friday.

Mrs. Claus and her elf were on hand to hand out Christmas gifts and stockings to the residents. The gifts were courtesy of an Angel Tree that had been set up at the facility.

Residents packed into the recreation hall were they were entertained by music which was followed by the gifts and then lunch was served to those in attendance as well as their families.

La Solana held a similar event over Thanksgiving which was well received.

    " I recently had a loved one there. What has happened to the place? The employees seem sad, the patients look sad, This seems to be a very unhappy place all-around. Hope things get better but it doesn't look promising? Administration? "
