DARC to hold awards dinner Thursday

Douglas’ Association of Retarded Citizens (DARC) will hold their annual dinner and awards presentation on Thursday, January 17.

The awards dinner recognizes employees of DARC who have learned to self-sustain and prove that they have a lot to give to the community.

Everyone needs to be needed and need to feel like they are giving back, DARC Executive Director Gary Clark said.

DARC will also be awarding four community organizations and or members at the dinner.
