Wayne Orr, of Double Adobe, passed on January 3, 2013 at Sierra Vista Regional Hospital surrounded by his family and friends. He was born July 20, 1931 in Bisbee. AZ.



Wayne is preceded in passing by his father William D. Orr, his mother Marian E. Balke, his wife Dorothy, his brother Raymond Balke and his daughter Vicki Orr Krom. Wayne is survived by his daughters Patty (Doug) Strub, Annette Orr, Nadine (Norman) Abel and Paula Allen, his sister Francis Ranaccelli, his brother Butch Balke; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank friends for the kindness and support throughout Wayne’s illness and requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Wayne’s name be made to the Douglas Cowbells, Larry Dever Search and Rescue Fund or Larry Dever Scholarship Fund.

A memorial will held at the Double Adobe School on January 19, 2013 at 11:00 am and a dinner will follow at the Cowbell Hall in Douglas at 10th and Pan American.
