Claire Pauline (Whitmer) Neff

Claire Pauline (Whitmer) Neff passed away on December 1, 2012 of, as yet an undiagnosed cause, at the hospital in Show Low, AZ. She was 36 years old.

Polly was born March 1, 1976 in San Manuel, AZ. She came to Elfrida in 1986 and graduated from Valley Union High School in 1994 where she was a gifted athlete and musician. Polly was a lifelong active member of the Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints, serving in many leadership and teaching calling positions.

After graduation she then enrolled in Eastern Arizona College where she earned her associates degree. It was there that she also met her sweetheart, Kristoffer Neff. They were sealed in marriage in the Mesa, AZ temple by her grandfather Howard B. Church on June 3, 1995. When her family started, she devoted her all to them. She was a wonderful mother and always enjoyed her family. They have lived in Taylor, AZ since that time, except for a short time in the Salt Lake City, UT. area.

She is survived by her husband Kristoffer W. Neff; two daughters, Jessica Sadie and Rebecca Erin; two sons, Kristoffer Darin and Shawn Thomas; her parents, Rex and Catherine Whitmer of Elfrida. Michael Karl (Teresa Grange) of West Valley, UT.; James Stephen (Carla Dugan) of Oro Valley, AZ., David Coleman (Karen Pasch) of Oxnard, CA., Rex R III (Lisa Chapman) of Avon, IN., Timothy Paul (Brandi Jones) of Mesa, AZ and John Merrill (Brandy Krugman) of Gilbert AZ., Catherine Naomi Rollins (Daniel N.) of Elfrida and Lorna Anne Dent (Arnold Jeffery Dent) of Tolleson, AZ. She is also survived by her husbands’ parents, Grant and Allison Neff and adult children Jennifer and Alicia Neff, Jeremy, Kasey and Joey Neff.

Services will be at 10 A.M. Saturday morning, December 8, 2012, in the LDS Centennial Chapel in Taylor, Arizona.

Burial will be in the Taylor, Arizona Cemetery.
