Spay/neuter and vaccination clinic Nov. 14-15 By Trisha MaldonadoDouglas Dispatch The Humane Society of Southern Arizona will offer a low cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinic to the Douglas community on Wednesday and Thursday Nov. 14-15 at the Douglas Animal Shelter/Animal Health Care Center, located at 2017 Rogers Avenue. For the surgery services, people are asked to arrive between 7- 9 a.m. The walk-in vaccine clinic will be from 3-5 p.m. Fees will be as follows: cat neuter $20; cat spay $50; dog neuter $75; dog spay 0-50 pounds $85; over 50 pounds $100; pregnant $30 additional. Vaccines/other services: Rabies vaccine $15; DAPP (dogs)/PRC (cats) $10; FelV $15; Kennel Cough/Bortadella $15; Microchipping $20; Toe Nail Trim/Anal Glands $10 each; Deworming $15; FeLV/FIV test $25; Heartworm/Tick Fever Test $25; antibiotics (if required) $25; pain meds (if required) $20; In order to receive any service, proof of current vaccinations must be presented at the clinic. Current vaccinations will be required at time of surgery.
