The 2012 Cochise County Fair was a great success with many exhibits displayed by 4-H and FFA youth members. Below are the Champion and Reserve award winners from the livestock and small stock divisions. Congratulations to all the participants and many thanks to the numerous volunteers and donors that helped to make it a great year.

The fair culminated with the large livestock auction selling 27 steers, 10 goats, 11 lambs and 78 hogs in front of the grandstands. A total of 80 buyers participated in this year’s auction with a sale total of $288,690 plus $51,783 from 124 add-on contributions. The small stock auction included 12 rabbits, six cavies, 25 poultry, six waterfowl, four landfowl, two pigeons and three pygmy goats. There were a total of 29 buyers with a sale total of $3,780 and $6,907.94 from 45 add-on contributions.

Over 80 other individuals and businesses sponsored fair awards and the buyer’s luncheon.
