Teachers at Huber Middle School were recently challenged to a volleyball match by some of their students.

That match was played last Thursday, Nov. 8 in the Huber Gym and the teachers won three of five games. Scores were not available.

“The student-staff volleyball game was a culminating activity to allow the girls the opportunity to practice the volleyball skills they learned through participation in a 12 week volleyball skills program with Coach Mary Laborin,” Huber Principal Andrea Overmann said. “The teachers, school counselor, and principal who participated did not receive any training, but agreed to participate after a friendly challenge was issued.”
