Zumba for the cure

Ezra Fitness, on 1356 San Antonio Ave., will be holding a Zumba “Pink” Party on Nov. 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with a $10 charge.


Proceeds will go to the Douglas Run/Walk for the Cure’s annual Turkey Trot.

“Any funds donated to us go to Douglas residents that have been diagnosed with cancer,” Run/Walk for the Cure Organizer Linda Gomez said.

Many breast cancer survivors have relied on their zumba classes for physical and emotional support during their fight against the disease, including Gomez.

“People can stay for the entire two hours or come and go if they want,” Gomez said. “Certified zumba instructors will lead the party.”
