Baseball tournament committee says thanks

Dear Editor:


The Douglas International Baseball committee would like to thank all the Douglas community for helping us make the tournament very successful on August 31-September 2.

Also, thank you for supporting the children categories 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12, and all the teams that participated.

We would like to thank, the Mexican Council of Douglas, Douglas Mayor Danny Ortega, the City Council, City Manager Carlos de la Torre, Ana Urquijo, Mr. Council Angel de la Torre, youth activities president Frank Vasquez, LIC. Leonardo Samaniego, Mi Ranchito Meat Market, Ortega’s Sportsworld, Gina Tartaglia, and everyone that helped us make this tournament possible.

Thank you the committee; Sergio Hernandez, Dora Hernandez, Jesus “Chuey” Duarte, Efrain Elias, Elsa Villacanio, Marcela Romo, Karla Romo, Zhoyla Galindo, Pablo Galindo, Vanessa Valdez, Alma Sanchez and Hector Sanchez.
