Four illegal immigrants commit fraud

During the first week of July, four unrelated illegal immigrants were apprehended at the Douglas Port of Entry. Each one was attempting to use fraudulent means in order to live in the United Sates. CBP officers detected the attempted intent during the screening process and took the illegal immigrant into custody. The immigrant was identified as a 51-year-old woman from Chihuahua, Mexico. The woman had obtained a valid Border Crossing Document that only authorizes the holder to visit the United States. The CBP officers discovered that the woman had been living and working illegally in the U.S. for the past ten years. The woman was processed for removal from the United States and sent back to Mexico.
The second immigrant was identified as a 49-year-old man from Sonora, Mexico. The man had no identifying documents and was claiming to be a United States citizen. CBP officers discovered that the man was actually an Aggravated Felon and had an extensive criminal history for dangerous drugs.
The third immigrant was identified as a 25-year-old man from Sinaloa, Mexico. The CBP officers discovered that the man had extensive criminal history for aiding and abetting illegal immigrants into the United States. The man was assuming the identity of someone else, in an attempt to avoid detection.
The fourth immigrant was identified as a 31-year-old man from MichoacĂ¡n, Mexico. CBP officers found that the man had several serious immigration violations and had been living and working illegally in the United States.
The last three people were taken into custody and presented for prosecution before a Federal Magistrate.
Since June 1, CBP officers have apprehended 52 illegal immigrants at the Douglas POE who were attempting to live in the United States using fraudulent means.
Immigrant uses counterfeit Visa

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers apprehended an arriving immigrant who was attempting to use a counterfeit Lincoln Visa to gain entry into the United States.
On July 10th at about 5 p.m. CBP officers were screening travelers when they became suspicious of a man and the documents he was presenting in order to gain entry into the United States. CBP officers examined the documents closer and found that the Lincoln Visa was a counterfeit document. The man was identified as a 25-year-old Mexican national from Baja California, Mexico.
The man was a repeat offender and was processed for removal from the United States and sent back to Mexico.
Suspect wanted for murder arrested by agents
U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Naco Station arrested an illegal alien Wednesday who has an active warrant for murder.
While attempting to illegally enter into the United States, the man was apprehended by Naco agents, processed in the field and transported to the Naco Border Patrol Station. The subject was enrolled into the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS).
The system revealed he had arrests for assault, gang activity, criminal weapons and firearms possession in addition to the warrant. The man will be turned over to the Tucson Police Department pending extradition to New York.
